Donation

As at 30 June 2018, Recruit for Good passed a major milestone as the donations generated by our Social Enterprise recruitment business for HammondCare Darlinghurst exceeded the $100,000.00

milestone. As at the end of August 2018 the donations generated reached $130,000.00 and continue to grow. These donations were generated across a period of little more than 18 months through innovate360 placing staff around the country, including specialist nursing staff, allied health staff, aged care specialists, marketing specialists, communications specialists and management.

Generating donations to assist a charity forms the basis of Recruit for Good’s Social Enterprise model of recruitment, charging significantly less than the majority of recruitment companies and donating 20% of all recruitment fees to a charity or NFP nominated by the client.

The Recruit for Good Social Enterprise model of recruitment represents a new and sustainable way in which business can assist in the resolution of social issues via a simple change in the way in which it procures recruitment services. It costs business nothing to do this, and it has a huge impact on both the community and employees. It would also result in significant cost savings for the majority of businesses. It generates positive messages for the client, creating goodwill across the community. Over and above recruiting great staff and reducing cost, it also represents a new approach to business growth and competitive advantage.

About HammondCare Darlinghurst

The Darlinghurst project has been established by HammondCare, an independent Christian charity, to build an aged care home to cater for the needs of inner Sydney’s growing aged homeless population. There are approximately 800 people who make up this cohort, who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and many of whom have very complex health care requirements. Site remediation and excavation work has been completed and building has commenced on the site at 118A Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst, with construction of the Darlinghurst home expected to be completed by late 2019. The commissioning of this facility will make a huge difference in the lives of many. To learn more about HammondCare Darlinghurst visit
